The most common way to get started is to complete a finance or accounting degree. There is also the option to study to become an accountant whilst gaining work experience at the same time within an accountancy firm. However, you get started in the accountancy profession you will continue to develop professionally throughout your career and will be required to keep up with regulations and guidelines which are constantly being adapted to our ever-changing world.
